  Munnar is one of the coldest hills in India, which is located at Kerala. Though it is situated in Kerala , during peak summer seasons it is mostly occupied by the people of Tamil Nadu. Your Munnar trip is a calming journey into world of green hills and cool air. The drive up the winding roads is beautiful with waterfalls like Attukad visible along the way. Once in Munnar, you’re surrounded by endless green tea fields that look like a soft blanket over the hills.

A visit to the Tea Museum reveals the fascinating history of tea-making in the area. You can also see a tea factory to understand how it’s done. For fun, visit Echo Point, where you can shout and hear your voice come back from across the lake. A boat ride on the peaceful Mattupetty Dam is also a must.

If you enjoy hiking, Eravikulam National Park offers great trails and a chance to spot the Nilgiris Tahr, a mountain goat. For the best view, head to Top Station, Munnar’s highest point, to see a wide expanse of valleys and hills.
